We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. As such, we believe the scriptures are accurate, authoritative and applicable to our lives. (2 Timothy 3:15-16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe in one eternal God who is Creator of all things. He exists in three persons: God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe God is totally loving and completely holy. (Mark 12:29; Matt. 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only one who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, and died on the cross in our place. He rose again to prove His victory and to empower us for life. (Isa 7:14; Matt 1:23; Heb 7:26; 9:12 1 Pet 2:22; Acts 1:9; 2:22; 10:38; 2 Cor. 5:21; Luke 24:39; 1 Cor. 15:4; 15:22-24, 51-57; Rom 8:34; Eph. 4:8-10; Heb 8:34; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 20:1-6)
We believe sin has separated us from God and His plan for our lives. (Gen. 1:26-31; Rom. 5:12-21)
We believe salvation exists for all who truly repent of their sins and submit their lives to Jesus Christ. (Titus 2:11, 3:5-7; Rom. 10:8-15;1 Cor. 15:3-4)
We believe that in order to live in obedience to God, we need to obey the command to be baptized in water and to live a life empowered by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit provides us with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance to do what is right. (Matt 28:19; Acts 2:38-39; 10:47-48; Acts 1:4-5, 8, 2:4; 10:44-46)
We believe communion is an important activity for each believer to participate in. (Luke 22:14-20; 1 Cor. 11:20-34)
We believe Jesus is returning as He promised. (John 14:1-6; Acts 1:9-11; Rev 1:7)
